Wow! What a crazy awesome start to the term. It was great to see your beautiful children rested, relaxed and ready to learn & have fun at school.
ANZAC Day holiday - Monday. Enjoy the extra day relaxing with your family.
Library - New day this term. There was a large number of children in our class interested in Kapa Haka last term. Kapa Haka is on at the same time as our library time. So the children who go to Kapa Haka don't miss out on library, I have changed our day to WEDNESDAY.
Kapa Haka - Notices will come home on Tuesday for those children wanting to participate in Kapa Haka this term. For your child to be able to participate, please fill in the form and return it to myself or the office. If your child is wanting to do Kapa Haka but they haven't taken a notice, please let me know and I will get a copy for you.
Scholastic Book Orders - Each child will be bringing home a catalogue on Tuesday. Please ensure that if you are placing a money order, you put the correct amount in as they do no give change.
RE Workbooks - Thank you to all the children who have returned their RE workbooks. This term during RE we will be looking at the God strand. We have just finished our lessons about Easter. We watched an amazing video clip about Good Friday & Easter Sunday - which the children were fascinated by. The artist uses sand and different coloured lighting creating a stunning visual story. It will be up on the RE page shortly.
